Welcome to the Alauda Journal Authors’ Guidelines page. To maintain our high standards of publication, we request that all authors adhere to the following guidelines when submitting manuscripts.
Submission Categories
We accept original research articles, review articles, short communications, and case studies in various disciplines, aligning with the journal’s multidisciplinary scope.
Manuscript Preparation
General Formatting
- File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Word Count:
- Research Articles: 4,000–6,000 words
- Review Articles: 6,000–8,000 words
- Short Communications: 1,500–2,500 words
Structure of the Manuscript
Title Page:
- Title of the manuscript
- Author names and affiliations
- Corresponding author’s contact information (email and phone number)
Abstract:
- Limit: 250 words
- Include keywords (3–5).
Main Sections:
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
Figures and Tables:
- Submit figures and tables embedded in the manuscript.
- Provide high-resolution images (min 300 DPI)
Submission Process
- Online Submission: Submit your manuscript through our submission portal or email it to submissions@alaudajournal.com.
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in English. Ensure proofreading for grammar and clarity.
- Plagiarism: The manuscript must be original and not submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism should be less than 10%.
Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 4–6 weeks. Revisions, if required, must be submitted within the stipulated timeframe
Copyright and Open Access
Upon acceptance, authors must sign a copyright transfer agreement. Alauda Journal follows an open-access policy, ensuring global accessibility of published articles.
Ethical Guidelines
- Authors must adhere to ethical research and publication practices.
- All studies involving human or animal subjects must have prior ethical clearance and approval.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
